What. A. Blast.
Seriously.
Garrett and I went to high school together and really–he was pretty much the best guy friend a girl could ever ask for. No joke. So I was absolutely thrilled when I found out he was engaged, and BEYOND thrilled when he and Jenny asked me to do their pictures! I had so much fun shooting with them, and because of that I had a killer time trying to narrow down my selection for the blog. I started out with 45 images (give or take a couple), so really–y’all are lucky I was able to get it down to 25! Plus–one of these isn’t even of them. It’s of me.
A tire swing? Seriously!? Obviously, I couldn’t resist…
Why am I posting a picture of me? Well, I wanted y’all to see the lengths I go to to get pictures. Yeah. I know. I look like I’m about to get struck by lightning. I don’t know if I’d go THAT far… But Garrett and Jenny sure had a good laugh when they saw me at the bottom of the slide, so they insisted on getting a picture. And no. I didn’t even slide down the slide. Just stood on it. Oh yeah. And almost fell off of it, too. Twice.
Old tubs? Sign me up.
Garrett and Jenny got engaged at Discovery Park, so–to satisfy my cheesy side–we did a little reenactment. In the exact location he proposed. You know it!
Okay, let’s be honest. This was what the shoot was like half the time. Goofballs….
I spy, with my little eye… Someone that is GORGEOUS!!!
And there they go… off into the sunset…
…on their tiny. little. scooter. thing.

Garrett kissing?! What?!
Just kidding.
Love the shoes on Jenny! Looks like you all had a blast!
You bet we did!
Lauren—these pictures are fantastic! The colors, texture, and framing are really excellent–and your photo treatments are gorgeous! LOVE the tub one; it has such a vintage-meet-modern feel. WOW! Well done!
Thanks, Chantelle! That means a lot coming from you! I’m so glad you like them…
